Abstract

Justification: Currently, companies implement corporate benefits to foster employee loyalty and improve well-being. However, periodic evaluations are not conducted to determine whether these benefits generate a real impact on employees’ job satisfaction and quality of life. Objective: The objective of this research was to analyze the impact of corporate benefits on the occupational well-being of employees in companies in Quito. Methodology: A mixed-methods approach was applied. From a quantitative perspective, a structured survey was administered to a sample of 106 employees. From a qualitative perspective, a focus group consisting of five participants and a specialized interview were conducted in order to gain deeper insight into employees’ perceptions and experiences. Results: Among the main findings, it was observed that corporate benefits related to physical and emotional well-being contribute significantly to occupational well-being; however, their impact is moderate due to the influence of other organizational factors. Conclusion: It is recommended that organizations implement broader strategies that include mental health, work flexibility, and sustainable policies to achieve comprehensive occupational well-being.
