Justification: : E-leadership has been studied in corporate and technology-intensive settings but remains underexplored in operational sectors such as private security, whose supervision is heavily technology-mediated. Objective: To determine how e-leadership related to soft skills among the staff of an Ecuadorian private security company. Methodology: A quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional, descriptive-correlational design was applied, with full-population coverage of 98 employees, using the six e-competencies scale and the MSSAT soft-skills instrument. Results: Both scales showed very good internal consistency and adequate sampling adequacy; both constructs reached a medium level, with e-communication as the weakest managerial competency and initiative-resourcefulness as the lowest skill. Pearson correlation was non-significant (r = 0.030; p = 0.768). Conclusion: Perceived e-leadership and self-perceived soft skills operated as independent dimensions; strengthening supervisors’ digital communication and staff proactivity was the strategic human-talent priority in the sector.
